Shara Clark, APR, is an award-winning communicator with more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations and social media. She has substantial background in nonprofit PR and in corporate communications, focused primarily in the insurance and financial services space. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications and Public Relations from Miami University, and has received a Certificate in Social Media from Cincinnati State. In 2013, she received her APR (Accredited Public Relations) designation from the Universal Accreditation Board through the Public Relations Society of America. Clark has been actively involved in the Cincinnati Public Relations Society of American where she currently serves on the board as president. She has also volunteered her time on the public relations committees for the Cincinnati YWCA and the Ron Clark Academy.
Paige Garty is the current Miami University PRSSA President for the 2016-2017 school year. Paige is a strategic communications and interactive media studies double major. She is a junior from Midfield Massachusetts. Outside of PRSSA, Paige is an active member of her sorority, Chi Omega. Paige hopes to work in entertainment public relations one day. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Connor O'Neill is a senior Finance major and Business Legal Studies and Political Science double minor from Lake Zurich, Illinois. He has been the treasurer for Alpha Sigma Phi for 2 years. Last summer, Connor was a brokerage intern for Eagle Commercial Realty Services in Phoenix, AZ and also received his real estate license. After graudation, he hopes to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
Madison Witherell is a junior political science and strategic communications double major from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is an active member of Alpha Delta Pi, an off-campus senator for ASG and a communications intern for the College of Arts and Science. Last summer, Madison interned for Senator Portman and for the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office as she is considering a career in public affairs in the future. In her free time, Madison loves traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Vice President of Online Communications: Rosie Leuby
Rosie Leuby is a senior strategic communication and professional writing double major with a minor in management from New Albany, Ohio. She is an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority since her freshmen year. She hopes to work at a large consulting or branding firm. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys yoga, playing with her pets, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Vice President of Community Relations: Carrie Ryan
Carrie Ryan is a senior strategic communications and professional writing double major from Cincinnati, Ohio. Outside of PRSSA, she is a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She hopes to work at a large PR firm after graduation. In her free time, Carrie likes to spend time with her family and friends, run and read.
Allie Palm is a senior Strategic Communications major with Business and 2-D Media Studies as her minors from Dayton, Ohio. This year she holds the Programming chair for PRSSA, and also as Administrative chair for Nourish International- a non-profit student organization with the goal of ending poverty. After graduation she hopes to be working in a PR Firm. Allie enjoys traveling and relaxing on the beach.
Co-Vice President of Publications: Kayleigh Jackson
Kayleigh Jackson is a senior double major in journalism and international studies with minors in sports management and history. Outside of PRSSA, Kayleigh is the editor of a sports blog and previously interned in the Cincinnati Cyclones hockey team's PR/Media Department. She hopes to go into sports journalism following graduation. In her free time, Kayleigh loves traveling, spending time with her dog and cooking.
Co-Vice President of Publications: Allie Prosinski
Allie Prosinski is a senior, double major with Media and Culture and Sports Media. She is from Montgomery, New Jersey although grew up mostly in Cleveland. Allie hopes to one day be producing major league sporting events, hopefully basketball and baseball, but in the mean time enjoy writing about everything sports and exploring the world every chance she get. This is her second year as VP and is very happy to be back!
Dalton Ulm is a senior at Miami University studying strategic communications and professional writing. Dalton is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and plans to head to Chicago after graduation. On campus, Dalton is involved in Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional business fraternity, in which he has been a part of since his freshmen year. He aspires to work in the fields of Diversity and Inclusions Training and/or CSR (corporate social responsibility) at a large media agency. In his free time, Dalton loves to travel, cook and work on his podcast.
Sarah Wullenweber is a senior strategic communication and linguistics double major with a minor in Spanish from Cincinnati, Ohio. Beyond PRSSA, she is a teaching assistant within the MJF department, tutors elementary students Spanish and is a member of the Global Buddies organization on campus. Previously working with the Miss Oxford Scholarship Program and Pomme PR & Marketing, Sarah plans to work in Public Relations post-graduation.
